The Setra ASL model is the most accurate transmitter for differential pressure measurement in the AccuSense™ product line. It uses the “end point method” calibration with an accuracy of ±0.07% FS and linearity superior to similar products calibrated using the “best fit straight line method”.

The ASL type uses the SecureCal™ calibration key to prevent calibration tampering, thereby avoiding false adjustments and authorizing the user to adjust the calibration factor for accurate sensor calibration. The product is specially designed to provide greater resistance to overpressure and offers a wide range of pressure and electrical interfaces for a wide range of applications.

High precision products for demanding applications
The ASL type differential pressure transmitter uses a resonant variable capacitance sensor. The sensor is linearized and temperature compensated by an electronic curve fitting algorithm to optimize linearity, enabling higher measurement accuracy in demanding applications.

Robust design and construction for reliable operation
The ASL model is designed to withstand demanding applications. The sensor is laser welded and equipped with positive and negative overpressure limiting devices to withstand up to 100 times overpressure conditions at any pressure range.

Safe and fast calibration and maintenance
The ASL model is manufactured to exacting accuracy and is ideal for the test and measurement industry. It uses the SecureCalTM calibration button to adjust the zero and span factors with simple buttons and adjustment knobs. SecureCalTM also offers the option to restore factory defaults to avoid sensor calibration failures.
