The Setra 209H is a 316L stainless steel pressure transducer, built for harsh and corrosive environments in new energy and industrial applications, such as fuel cells, CNG and LNG systems, hydrogen production, water and sewage systems, and gas pipelines. Note that this model is listed as obsolete by Setra; we are keeping the listing here for reference and for customers who already have it specified, but we would recommend checking with us on a current replacement before ordering.

All wetted parts are 316L stainless steel with no seals, O-rings, or brazed joints, and it uses a non-oil-filled capacitive sensor design, so there is no risk of oil leakage or contamination the way there can be with older oil-filled sensors. A patented overpressure stop lets it recover from overpressure up to 4 times the rated range. Accuracy is ±0.25% FS, with output of 4-20mA (2-wire) or 0.5-5.5VDC/0.2-5.2VDC (3-wire), running on 9-30VDC unregulated power. Pressure ranges run from 0-15 PSI to 0-1,000 PSI across seven standard ranges.

From our experience, this was specified for demanding retrofit and OEM applications where a wide choice of pressure and electrical connectors mattered.
