The Precision Digital Loop Leader+ is a loop-powered meter that can be easily installed to show a 4-20 mA signal. It has a large, dual-line display with a 2.8-inch, 5-digit top display that displays the process variable, and a 1.5-inch, 8-character alphanumeric bottom display that displays the units of measure or a tag. Models for feet and inches show the level in feet and inches on the top display, while the bottom line can show a tag or custom message. Additionally, the meter includes a 20-segment bargraph with a numeric percentage representation.

For programming and setup, a free PC-based software, MeterView XL, is available and connects to the meter through a micro USB cable. There are two configurations available: display only and display with two solid-state relays and 4-20 mA analog output. All models come with two open collector outputs and remote contacts. The open collector outputs can be used for alarm indication, while the remote contacts can be used to remotely operate the programming buttons, acknowledge relays, start/stop a timer/stopwatch, and more. The relays can be programmed for alarm indication, on/off control, or pump alternation.
