MTT MS3701F Slim Plug-In Thermocouple Temperature Transmitter

We received an enquiry from a customer whose thermocouple reading needed to reach the control system fast — a burner flame-out condition, a fast overtemperature trip, something where the standard 160ms response of a typical thermocouple transmitter was too slow for the safety loop it was feeding.

The MTT MS3701F is the fast-response version of MTT’s slim plug-in thermocouple transmitter. It reads a thermocouple signal, applies cold junction compensation and linearization, and delivers an isolated DC output in 500µs or less — a fraction of the response time of the standard MS3701. It covers the same wide range of thermocouple types (K, E, J, T, B, R, S, N), so you’re not stuck with a narrower sensor selection just because you need the faster response.

Being part of the MS3700 slim plug-in range, the MS3701F plugs into its own socket base, so it can be pulled and replaced in seconds for calibration or maintenance without rewiring the field cabling underneath. In actual application, panel power isn’t always 24V DC — the MS3701F accepts 100-240V AC mains, 24V DC, or 100-240V DC, so it fits into panels without a dedicated low-voltage bus.
