The Contrec 212 Heat Calculator is a reliable device for measuring energy use in hot water heating systems and chilled water cooling systems. Accuracy to OIML R75 Class 4 and EN1434
This heat calculator can be equipped with two precise 4-wire Pt100 RTDs and includes built-in corrections for any non-linearity in the RTDs. For chilled water applications where the temperature difference (Δt) may be minimal, the setup program allows you to eliminate any offset between the RTDs. The Contrec 212 is fully programmable, and all setup data and totals are securely stored in non-volatile memory for at least 10 years.

Durable Watertight Enclosure
The Contrec 212 Heat Calculator is housed in a sturdy and attractive IP66 (Nema 4X) rated polycarbonate enclosure, making it completely watertight. It can be mounted using a wall bracket or through panel mounting.

Integration with Energy Management Systems
A Meter-bus interface allows the Contrec 212 Heat Calculator to be integrated into energy management systems that comply with the European IEC 870-5 protocol, enabling connections to computers and DCS systems.

Flexible Datalogging Options
The Contrec 212 Heat Calculator can store energy totals by hour, day, week, or month for up to 31 periods. These totals can be easily downloaded to a computer via the Meter-bus or RS485 communication ports.
