Setra’s Mode 512 OEM pressure sensors are designed to withstand pressure spikes, shocks, and vibrations in demanding industrial environments.
The Model 512’s CVD strain gauge design prevents early product failure and is immune to thermal shock and pressure cycling. The stability of this technology ensures sensor reliability and guarantees annual drift of less than 0.2%.
The product’s withstand voltage is up to 4 times the full scale, resulting in a zero drift of less than 1%.
The Model 512 sensor has 0.5% F.S accuracy, temperature compensation range of -20°C ~ 80°C (-5oF~180oF), and range from -14.7PSI to 6000PSI gauge and compound pressure.
The modular design of the Model 512 allows it to choose virtually any output under any pressure, with a wide range of pressure and electrical connections, giving customers more choice in OEM use. Depending on the electrical connection, the Model 512 is made of 316 stainless steel / 17-4PH stainless steel and the product can be IP65 or IP67 certified. The entire wetted part is made of corrosion-resistant 17-4PH stainless steel, making it suitable for use in corrosive media.
Using a well-proven Wheatstone bridge principle, a thin layer of silicon and silicon oxide on a stainless steel substrate by plasma chemical vapor deposition (CVD) forms a very sensitive and accurate polysilicon strain gauge. The components of the strain gauge are welded together at the atomic level to ensure the strength and integrity of the joint. It goes beyond the early strain gauge pressure sensitive components made of adhesive. A dedicated ASIC circuit completes signal amplification and temperature compensation. This technology provides users with flexible output and pressure range configurations, zero and full-scale tolerances, and product interchangeability.
