  • Contrec 515 series with HC01 Heat Calculator application measures the volume, mass and energy content of the fluid in a heating or cooling system by using frequency volume flow input in conjunction with analogue supply and return temperature inputs.

A selection of fluid types and modes makes it suitable for many heating or cooling applications. The 515-HC01 Heat Calculator is compatible with a wide range of flowmeter frequency outputs, including mV signals, reed switches, Namur proximity switches and pulse output via its smart front-panel programming.

515-HC01 calculates the mass flow and energy according to the Industrial Formulation (1997) (IAPWS) when the fluid type is water, while internal enthalpy and density tables are used for the selection of other industrial fluids.

In Contrec 515-HC01, Mass Flow and Energy Calculation possible for fluids like Water, Glycol(35% Solution), Brine (27% CaC2), TYFOXIT F20, TYFOXIT F40, Essotherm 500/Thermaloil, THERMINOL 55 also User Customer Fluid.
